Metode određivanja konformacije trupa pilića

With the exception of shank length, significant differences in regard to all conformation measures were established in case of observed conformation measures. Statistically significant differences were established in all investigated traits by use of g/mm index. By application of Jaap index, significances were expressed in case of shank length and thigh girth. Hybro chickens had considerably longer shanks, whereas the thigh girth was considerably greater on Arbor Acres carcasses. - The highest deviation of absolute conformation measures was achieved by formation of mixed model of variance analysis. Also, significances were established, as well as by application of Jaap index, in case of shank length and thigh girth, however, both measures were considerably higher on carcasses of Hybro chickens.
Cilj rada je bio da se ispitaju različite metode određivanja konformacije trupa pilića. U radu je izmerena dužina piska, dubina grudi, dužina kobilice i obim bataka pilića Arbor Acres i Hybro. Konformacija trupa pilića Arbor Acres i Hybro je određena Jaapovim indeksom, indeksom g/mm i mešovitim modelom analize varijanse. Mešovitim modelom i Jaapovim indeksom se smanjuje uticaj telesne mase na mere konformacije.
